TEMPORARY COVID-19 CLINIC PROTOCOLS

UPDATED: 23/05/2020

  • Please wait outside the clinic upon arrival. The osteopath will invite you into the building
  • There is currently NO access to the waiting room or toilet
  • You will be asked to sanitise your hands with alcohol gel before and after your appointment (supplied in clinic)
  • Please BRING ALONG A FACE COVERING to be worn during the treatment
  • Your osteopath will be wearing appropriate PPE throughout the consultation

Please contact us via email/phone (prior to your appointment) if over the last 14-days:
1. You or anyone in your household has a COUGH, FEVER or LOSS OF SMELL/TASTE
2. You have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19

We can reschedule your appointment once you feel better. It is vital we check this with you because our clinic sees many patients with underlying health conditions who are particularly vulnerable to the adverse symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.

IMPORTANT

Whilst we take every precaution to mitigate COVID-19 transmission, there may still be a very low risk present given the close osteopath/patient contact required during the examination and treatment processes.

Attendance to your appointment will be considered your consent to receive osteopathy treatment from our clinic and that you are aware of the risk of infection transmission. You can withdraw this consent at anytime.

We have a comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation guide in place that is reviewed on a regular basis. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like the full details of this guide to be emailed to you or if you would like to discuss any concerns you may have.
